Introduction
The noun has its base word
in the Latin word nomen. It refers to name. Every language must have nouns. A
noun is easily identified as a person, animal, place, thing and idea.
Identifying
a Noun Method-I
A noun is a part of speech
that denotes a person, animal, place, thing and idea.
Person –
proper name, gender and title
Animal – proper name, species and gender (It include
all the kinds of animal: birds, insects, etc.)
Place – proper name, physical location and general locale.
Thing – it includes now,
will include, or included in the past.
Idea – be it a real,
workable idea or an imaginary that might never come to realization.
